FAA WATERMARK WILL NOT PRINT ON PURCHASED ARTWORK. Visit my galleries if you don't want to wade through all my pages of artwork. I was five years old when I took my first photograph ... of my mom, dad and our dog (see the photo "Shutter Bug"). I've loved photography ever since. I won my first photo contest while in college and have had my photography in national, regional and local publications. I have had many of my weather photos shown on local television stations. Beginning in July of 2002 when I got my first digital camera; (a Kodak, then later a Olympus, now a Canon), I have taken a photo each day to put in my Photo Journal. I didn't think there would be much of interest EVERY day ... but God proves me WRONG. Each day...

Oh, okay, I don't own any art software, I do all of my photo editing on my android. I hope to get some software soon. I like your work, you have a creative mind.
Shannon Story
Hi Lisa, thanks for the comments. It was all done on the computer. I started with a background I created in Painter 12. Using the Sumi-e brushes. Then I created the shamprock by clipping outr the shape from the background. I then layered it over the background. Then I made a mandala of the background and the shamrock, using Paint Shop Pro's kaleidoscope effect. After that, I clipped out a shamrock leave to create the four leaved clover. Then I created a Photoshop brush in CS2 using swirls and shamrocks and dots, and layered it on top of the whole piece. Whew. :)

I am trying to understand how you did this. You put the design together, then photographed it, then added swirls with some photo editing software?
