About Shannon Story

I was five years old when I took my first photograph ... of my mom, dad and our dog (see the photo "Shutter Bug"). I've loved photography ever since. I won my first photo contest while in college and have had my photography in national, regional and local publications. I have had many of my weather photos shown on local television stations. Beginning in July of 2002 when I got my first digital camera; (a Kodak, then later a Olympus, now a Canon), I have taken a photo each day to put in my Photo Journal. I didn't think there would be much of interest EVERY day ... but God proves me WRONG. Each day...

Just have to comment on this interesting view and subject. My dad used to be an expert at this work. Not as a living, but for the many horses that we had on our farm, plus occasionally he who shoe some race horses. Believe me, hard work. Good photo combo here.
